RULE #1 – Decorate your Pumpkin Racecar.* (At Judges discretion, Racecar design may need to be altered to prevent injury.) {*RACECAR = One Pumpkin, 2 independent axles}
RULE #2 – Insert two independent axles THROUGH* your pumpkin and attach wheels to the axles.
(Axles must not be connected to one anther by ANY additional hardware. {*THROUGH = Axles must not be separate from pumpkin.)
RULE #3 – You may not attach or mount your pumpkin onto a chassis of any kind.
(skateboard, stroller, Tonka truck, homemade something etc. A.K.A. The Anti-Stealth Rule).
RULE #4 – NO EXPLOSIVES or PYROTECHNICS or FOREIGN MATERIAL (rocks, sand, bricks, candy etc) inside your pumpkin.
RULE #5 – No pushing or “helping” your pumpkin on the starting line, which includes no remote control chassis.

RULE #6 – NO CHEATING! Feel great about being honest and fair.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE REQUIRING A PUMPKIN CATCHER FOR EACH PUMPKIN REGISTERED. ALL PUMPKIN CATCHERS MUST BE ADULTS!
A Pumpkin Catcher is the person who catches your pumpkin at the bottom of the hill.
